Bored? Watch the corn grow! It must be a slow news day over at News.com, since they've posted this story about the Corn Cam. That's right, you can watch the corn grow right before your eyes! We're running on our UPS systems right now. They're testing the power systems in our building. I estimate we've got at least 30-45 minutes of battery backup before everything fails, they said this should only take 10 minutes, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I rather like working by the light of my monitors, it's somewhat eerie in my office, but it's much easier on the eyes looking at my screen. Now if I can only tune out the beeping of the UPS systems...
