Did I mention that Halo 2 is awesome?  It's consumed much of my free time for the last week, though I did find time on Saturday to wire my house for ethernet and new voice lines with the help of Gary and his wife Bekah.  Well, actually, they wired it with my help.  Or, more accurately, Bekah wired it while Gary sort of helped, and I watched and ordered pizza.

In any case, my house now has a 24-port cat 5e patch panel installed in the basement, with 16 ports of cat 5e wired throughout the house.  It all goes into my 24-port 10/100 switch, which I hope to replace with a gigabit switch at some point in the future.  We also ran new voice lines over cat 5e, though they're not hooked up yet.  I'm going to run coax to the same jacks as well, as soon as I find the time...
